Oh, yeah. You are so right about those usury laws. The spirit of those laws is being grossly violated. The credit card companies have bought off the legislators, and have been permitted to call usurious interest rates "fees" and so forth. They may follow the letter of the law, but the spirit of the law is being grotesquely trampled.
What they do is prey upon weaknesses of the people in need of quick cash. They are almost like pimps exploiting desperate homeless minors.
Anyone employed with a company charging preposterous rates to loan money, do not imagine for an instant that what you are doing is honorable. You are not earning an honorable living. Your ads show seductive images of living the high life on usurious loaned cash. Why don't you show someone hitting the bottle because they can't pay your absurd $35 late fee? I'll tell you why. It's because you want to prey upon the impressionable and milk as much cash as you can out of them.
