Pacifists Kill

I called in once to KGO radio when callers were protesting an exhibition by the Blue Angels, an elite fighter squadron. Their reasoning was that if they kept fighting machines out of the SF Bay Area, it would be a step toward world peace.

I made the point that in the body of even the most ardent of pacifists, there rages continuously a micro-Star Wars against invading pathogens by the immune system, very similar to that which the Blue Angels stand ready to fight. White blood cells seek out and destroy invaders. It is awesome and a fight to the death. That is the nature of the beast on the material plane.

Struggle exists. The important thing to focus on is whether power is being wielded wisely.
