in utility & income, you wrote:

but what about nuclear? of course you know that france gets 80% of its energy from nuclear. Japan get a very high percent. of course the US gets 15-20%. Three Mile Island was actually a success, as no lives were lost and the containment safety systems worked.

Spent fuel rods are recyclable. France is dong this. France has been "cookie cuttering" nuclear plants, using proven designs. I have heard from that if the US had the political will, we could start putting up nuclear plants with only 4 years lead time (if there was the will!)

Etc., etc.

So I am scratching my head as to why you didn't mention these things? It is beyond unreasonable to think that you don't know these things. As a matter of fact, why isn't ANYONE mentioning these things? Is it because nuclear is a dirty word?
