Comment about Helen Fisher's "Anatomy of Love"

Very, very good observations! The saying "blood is thicker than water" (meaning that family ties and loyalties influence decision-making and perceptions) comes to my mind. I have observed the "blood is thicker" phenomenon in various other human "tribes" such as religions and ideologies -- and, now, in Helen Fisher's writing, as well, thanks to your observations. It appears that Helen Fisher's objectivity at the time this book was written was compromised by her affiliations with the feminist and monogamist "tribes." As objective a scientists try to be, it takes a superhuman effort to free one's objectivity from the shackles of tribal influences. (This reminds me of the the Stockholm syndrome where a prisoner aligns his/her sympathies with her captors. The same principle is at play all throughout society -- one has to almost retreat to a cave to escape the "pull" of group sentiments.)
